Day 45 = Running + Crawfish

This is the half-way mark. I am actually not surprised I've made it this far, although some people who know about this experiment seem to believe that it is quite an accomplishment. I can honestly say that at this point, I can count on one hand the number of workouts that I've had that have been less than mediocre. For the most part, I'm pretty proud of these workouts. On Friday, my clothes seemed remarkably looser, so even if the scale is an evil liar, some inches are shrinking.

Today, Amy and Kerry are having an impromptu dance party in my living room with wine at 3 in the afternoon. Sounds fantastic! They are thrilled that I showed them how to hook up their laptop to my television so they can play iTunes. But as they say in show business: the show must go on. And by show, I mean my workouts. I need this time today. I am frustrated that I can't get my cute little BodyBugg to work, so Amy said she'd fix it for me (and she did by simply plugging it into another USB port on my laptop; duh).

For my workout this afternoon, not only did I enjoy my time off from work on a Monday, I ran/walked for about 35 minutes and came back to the house with a new plan for me and my visitors: crawfish and then margaritas at the Hula Hut to watch the sunset.
