I am fascinated with the iPhone and the iPhone app[lication]. Ironically, I do not own an iPhone. I'm what you call a late adopter, but I call myself practical. My Motorola Razr gets me from A to B for my telecommunications needs. But ever since I went out on a date with this guy on my birthday back in February who has an iPhone and told me about his dad giving him a book to write an iPhone app, it made me think that I do not want to miss out on this opportunity. I want to build an iPhone app, and I have just the idea.So tonight I went to an iPhone app seminar with my friend Katherine. We walked in about 20 minutes late. Let me paint a picture for you. I've only seen this setting and scenario displayed in movies and on television. Here you have two attractive women walk into a room filled with every nerd/geek stereotype on Earth. My mom always said "marry a nerd because they'll take care of you" but I feel like there has got to be some physical attraction and chemistry in place, as well.
So we had the nerd couple. The "gamer" nerds. The nerd girls. The skinny nerd. The overweight nerd. The "almost could be cute nerd if he wasn't a social idot" nerd. The Asian nerd. Should I go on? Katherine and I had our own nerd joke because as we were commenting on some of the comments being made in the seminar, we ourselves were using Twitter from our phones and that is something that could be misconstrued as a technically nerdy thing to do. In any case, we were the hottest things in the room. Ssssssssssssssss
Later that night, I watched the love of my life in television drama format, LOST. Then I tried out my bootcamp workout DVD that I bought at Costco.
